Colors are inspiring. A fresh coat of paint in the right color can completely transform a home. We have picked out a few colors to get you started. Some are tried and true, while others are currently in trend. Most are timeless and versatile. Selecting colors can be overwhelming, but it can also be fun! The most important part of picking colors is to be yourself. Infuse your home with colors that bring you joy.

Color tips:
  • Lighter colors tend to make a space appear bigger.
  • ​Darker colors tend to make a space feel warmer.
  • Darker colors on an exterior tend to absorb more heat and may fade faster. 
  • Accents walls don’t have to be “matchy matchy”. Consider colors that compliment each other. For example, grays and blues work very well together. 
  • With exterior painting, remember the 70-20-10 color rule. 70% of the home tends to be one color: the siding. 20% of the home is the trim -- fascia, for example. The last 10% serves as the color “pop”. The color pop could be something like shutters or the front door. Start your exterior color section with the siding color (70%) then work your way down, choosing colors that compliment the siding.
